Associate

Job Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for contributing to custom research projects on behalf of clients and utilized for strategic planning purposes. This position works closely with executives, managers, field partners and analytics staff in a supportive role, assisting in all phases of the project. This includes qualitative research, such as focus groups and ethnographic research, and quantitative research, such as online surveys by performing the following duties.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Core responsibilities
  • Works with Managers and Executives to understand client needs and objectives of the project.
  • Works with appropriate internal and external team members to efficiently and effectively implement projects according to objectives and specifications.
  • Works closely with Project Director to manage fielding of ongoing projects including delivery of recruit, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Manages vendors and serves as day-to-day contact and liaison between client team and vendors
  • Coordinates with research associates, data/analytical specialists, moderators, executives and managers in project execution.
  • Manages the operational and financial health of projects through integrated software.
  • Assists in data collection including observation and note-taking in qualitative research interviews; and/or testing online surveys and monitoring data collection in quantitative studies.
  • Assists in qualitative and quantitative analyses, including: compiling, coding, tabulating, content analysis, auditing, and verification of data.
  • Assists in data analysis to determine key findings, identifies and highlights most important drivers for significant differences, and helps to develop recommendations.
  • Participates in developing insights into the data findings, helps relate data findings to general research objectives and business issues raised by the client.
  • Creates logical, clear final deliverables and obtains timely review of deliverables by senior members of the team.

Account Executive

Job Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for the successful delivery of market research projects. Executives work closely with clients and S+R staff (Associates, Managers, and Directors) in all phases of market research. Executives contribute to business development by delivering excellent work and by establishing relationships with key members of the client team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Conducts qualitative and quantitative market research projects
  • Works directly with clients to understand their information and business needs
  • Builds client trust as a knowledge expert
  • Manages all phases of research with little oversight, including project set-up/design, fieldwork, analysis and reporting
  • Coordinates with research associates, data/analytical specialists, moderators, managers and directors in project execution.
  • Works closely with Managers and Directors to develop conclusions and implications based on research findings
  • Contributes strategic thinking and actionable client solutions, including creating strategies for clients to be reviewed and supported by senior team members
  • Assists in development of proposals, including defining research objectives, outlining scope and timeline and itemizing budgets

Account Director

Job Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for management of key client accounts and delivery of client services and deliverables. Essential duties include managing client development and leading strategy and market research projects on behalf of clients. This position works closely with clients, Management Directors, Managers, Executives and Associates in all phases of strategy and market research, including S+R proprietary research tools.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall success of key accounts
  • Develops and manages client relationships at the Director + level
  • Works directly with clients to understand their information and business needs
  • Cultivates new clients and extends existing client relationships, including business development activities
  • Becomes a trusted advisor and knowledge expert to clients
  • Directs and oversees client engagements at a strategic level
  • Contributes to advancement in strategic thinking and actionable solutions for clients
  • Provides strategic leadership and actionable client solutions for all engagements within key accounts
  • Crafts (or oversees development of) proposals, including strategy and research objectives, scope and budgets
  • Develops and designs qualitative and quantitative market research studies; reviews questionnaires and discussion guides developed by managers and senior managers
  • Leads the development of insights based on data findings, helps relate data findings to general research objectives and business issues raised by the client.

Job Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for managing a comprehensive portfolio and leading a team working on behalf of the company’s clients in the portfolio. Essential to the business portfolio is leading client development and strategic consulting activities. This position works closely with the corporate Leadership Team to realize portfolio revenue targets and with team members to ensure highest quality delivery of client services and fostering talent development and growth.
